A modern brand full of life and energy, but with a nod to its heritage too, for this iconic London theatre.

The challenge
With an innovative artistic programme of high quality puppetry at both of its London venues, Little Angel Theatre is a place of imagination and creativity. The brand needed to reflect this in a way that felt accessible to its audience of children and their parents.
Texture & energy
Incorporating creativity and artistry into the brand was essential. To achieve this, we designed a series of hand-drawn lines that enhance the texture and tactile feel of the brand, effectively bridging the gap between the digital and physical worlds.
Additionally, these lines infuse the brand's communications with vitality and animation, reflecting the process of bringing puppets to life.

A special place
The Little Angel Theatre holds a significant cultural value and is regarded as a symbol of creativity and skill, beloved by children in North London for generations. Our approach to handling the brand was carefully designed to maintain and strengthen the emotional connection customers have with it, without causing any damage.

A nod to the theatre
We drew inspiration from the architecture of the theatre building, such as the arched window frames and doorways, to design a set of versatile brand shapes. These shapes subtly convey the story of the theatre by framing photography, displaying messages, or showcasing details of upcoming shows.
We also incorporated elements from theatre tickets, curtains, and lights to add an authentic touch to the overall design.

A joyful brand
This cultural institution was established in 1961 and has been delighting both children and adults for many years. The brand perfectly embodies the vitality and essence of the theatre, fostering a deeper connection with its audience.
