A brand for environmental architects that brings nature and engineering precision together, in a way that reflects their personality and culture.

The challenge
Nurturing the environment, brewing beer and fostering talent are all things environmental architects Tyler Grange have done for over 10 years. They are at the forefront of their sector, but the brand felt outdated, and underwhelming. They needed a brand and website which better reflected their work and culture. They asked us to dig into what Tyler Grange is at its core and create an identity that showcased their innovative approach, and unique culture.
Digging into the brand
Through brand workshops with the leadership team, we discovered that Tyler Grange is best described as a playful brand supported by expert collaboration, which is at the heart of their practice.
They have deep technical expertise but also are intrinsically linked with nature and the environment.
Another key element to come from discussions was their carefully fostered and protected team culture. The 'TG tribe' was something the whole team was proud to belong to, and felt something to celebrate.

Brand development
We created a logo mark around the concept of 'reshaping your world'. Positive, nurturing and a catalyst for growth – the mark is inspired by flora and fauna, but also by human construction.
The brand had to convey the idea of technical knowledge and skills, a love of nature, and the unique culture of the business.
A brand filled with joy
Bolton Family Hubs needed a lively and engaging identity that would resonate with families in the area. The brand is filled with playful energy and character, designed to be welcoming and approachable for all age groups. The family hubs are a vital source of support for the whole community of Bolton. The brand was designed to be as inclusive as possible so everyone felt welcome, and to encourage as many people as possible to access the help they need.
Illustration
The brand tone of voice fed through the illustration style, using a geometric, bold and colourful style that is anything but corporate.
This illustration-led approach definitely helps the brand to stand out in it's sector, which relies heavily on photography, or blueprints and plans.

Website
The new brand needed a digital home, a place to showcase the amazing work the company does and the team culture they have developed. We designed and built a site that allowed the business to express its personality whilst still demonstrating their technical skills and expertise.
The site is a bold and contemporary design that really stands out in what can be a corporate sector. Bold colours and striking graphic style, with lots of illustration and animated elements makes for an exciting and immersive experience
The result
Tyler Grange launched their new brand to mark their 10 year anniversary, and it has been rolled out across website, social and all external comms.
They now have a brand that feels authentic to their culture and values, that represents their technical expertise and connection with nature.
It's a bold statement, and one that helps Tyler Grange to stand out from the crowd with confident and style.
"Thank you so much to the whole Flow team. You have been a joy to work with and the whole TG tribe loves the new brand and website. We finally have a brand that fits our team."
